We had a lovely stay at the cottage, it’s location was perfect and great for exploring Whitstable. Lacking a few necessities which would be a good addition in future (like kitchen roll/tea towels/shampoo/shower gel). All together a great little cottage for families or a group of friends wanting to walk to the beach and high street.
A great house - well suited for a family stay. We loved the location which meant it was easy to access everything in Whitstable and it was great to have a parking space too.
The cottage is in a great location for visiting Whitstable, 2 mins walk to the high street, 5 mins to the beach and 10 mins walk to the train station. The house itself is beautifully decorated and well equipped. Parking space in a busy town centre is a great addition and a nice garden if you’re lucky with the weather. The kids LOVED the cupboard with games and toys!! Would definitely look to visit the cottage again ☺️
Catherine’s place was the perfect base for our mini family break in Whitstable! We had absolutely everything we needed and the cottage was very cosy and clean. The allocated parking was great, as the on-street parking can get quite full at the weekends.
Catherine was a great host, who communicated clearly with us. The location of her place is fantastic, within walking distance to many lovely shops and restuarants. The place itself is a comfortable size, and has everything needed for a pleasant and easy stay. Overall cleanliness of the place, however, needs some extra attention.

Hi, I'm the mum of two young girls & an interior designer. I enjoyed renovating the cottage a few years ago. I have ensured Driftwood Cottage is comfortable, cosy, and well equipped to make it home away from home. We have a housekeeper (included in the cost) so you'll find the cottage wonderfully clean & tidy with fresh white bedding & towels.
