The basement apartment was as described - very well designed, in a beautiful and quiet residential neighborhood not too far from downtown, and easy to check in. Suja was very helpful in answering my questions and addressing any concerns I had. It was lovely to walk through the neighborhood in the mornings and evenings with its luscious greenery and parks, tastefully restored historic homes, and quaint coffee shop just a few blocks away. As to be expected from a basement apartment, there was some daytime noise but it was typically quiet by 9-10pm and earplugs were provided if needed. The stairs into the basement are somewhat steep with low ceilings, and you walk through a space that is obviously multipurpose storage, but once you open the door to the apartment it truly feels like a secluded, vibrant, and restful space. The bed was very comfortable and I slept great! Easy access to public transit and felt very safe once you got into the residential area. Overall a great place to stay!

Greetings fellow travelers! Born and raised in northern California, I have made Portland my home to live, work and play in, since 2010. As a traveler myself, I sincerely love providing an elegant, stylish, and comfortable home base for guests to enjoy and explore Portland. I always am brainstorming new ways to tweak my units to make them more pleasing to stay in. Pastimes I enjoy include Swimming, Running, Acrobatics, bicycle commuting, SUP, endurance training, and "Adventure Travel". I also volunteer for a Portland-based Youth Moutaineering group. My favorite foods are Thai, Mexican, and Indian, all spicy cuisines. Mmmmmm!
