A lovely & peaceful place to stay - spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean with a wonderful seaview. On the ground floor you enter via a small hallway which has ample space to keep coats and boots etc. Off that, there's a large and comfortable bedroom with an en suite wetroom. On the first floor is a fantastic open-plan living/ dining/ kitchenette area, with access to the balcony from which to take in the sea air. Everything was immaculate, with good quality bed linen & towels etc. all provided. The quirky kitchenette was better equipped than we'd expected, with a two-ring hob in addition to the microwave, plus plenty of crockery, cookware, & utensils etc. although there are a few places to eat out locally too, a short walk or drive away. It's a scenic drive to the Lake District, but local places like RSPB Leighton Moss are well worth visiting too. Paula was very welcoming, friendly & helpful on arrival and throughout, and keen to make sure that our stay was an enjoyable one.

We had a very enjoyable stay at 'The Boathouse'. It had everything that we required in terms of amenities and comfort, with some very thoughtful touches added by the host. Paula was very welcoming, when we arrived, and throughout was keen to ensure that we had the best experience possible. The setting was beautiful - close to the sea with lovely views over the bay. We would definitely recommend this accomodation to others and would love to return at some point.

This is an absolute gem. This is now our 10th Airbnb stay and this is ranked No1 for us. Stunning view, beautiful location, pubs, shop, Indian within 5 minute walking distance. Host so friendly. Spotless, modern and lots of little welcome touches.

Spectacular view and location and very comfortable stay in the Boathouse with everything you might need. Would definitely recommend and come back

Paula was an excellent host and incredibly attentive. There was an issue storm drainage cover which she resolved it immediately. All in all an excellent place to stay with stunning views and a great host! Would highly recommend.
