Sadly we only lasted one night in the treehouse - the noise of chipmunks on the roof, faulty air con plus enourmous cockroaches meant we changed to a family room for our second night. This was a lovely clean room with no bug issues and comfy beds. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant and our half day safari to Yala, arranged by this place, Lake View Villas, was brilliant.

It's a nice location, but too far away from any other restaurant. So, you stay for lunch and or dinner, but then you have to wait for more than one and a half hour for every lunch or dinner. That's way too long. The bottle of water, they put unasked on the table, are not from the house. If you drink then, they charge you (!?). The sandwiches are very poor. For that price you expect the full Monty. But it's just lots of roepies for just an sandwich with cheese and mustered. (Same with the club sandwich). The good thing is they arrange good drivers for safari, Tuk Tuk and taxi to your next stop. The other good thing is that they are very friendly and helpful. When we stayed, the activity went down several times per hour. So bring a torch, a good battery for your mobile phones and arrange a SIM card for your mobile phone and bring some board games our cards.

It's a nice, new place, quiet and quite far from the city. The treehouse and pool were fun. Some of the staff were tremendously helpful but overall perhaps needs a little more management.
