This property enjoys a convenient location in the city of Ripon in North Yorkshire. Although designated a city, Ripons small size makes it delightfully accessible, with everything that the city has to offer being under less than a mile of the propertys front door. There is an excellent range of shops and eateries, in addition to which there are no less than three interesting museums. The city is perhaps best-known for its cathedral, an imposing structure the history of which dates back to the 7th century. Just outside the city, (under 4 miles) the atmospheric ruins of Fountains Abbey make for a wonderful day trip, whilst the Yorkshire Dales are just 21 miles away providing a spectacular backdrop for enjoying relaxing walks. A communal staircase leads to the first floor of this converted chapel and to the front door of this duplex apartment. Once inside guests pass through a hallway where the washing machine is kept, which leads on to the stylish open-plan living area. This elegant room has a chic contemporary feel to it and has large floor-to-ceiling windows which flood the room with light. The lounge area is an attractive space which allows guests to enjoy simply spending time together, relaxing on the sofa and chairs and enjoying a film on the TV. The flame-effect electric fire gives the whole room a lovely cosy glow and ensures that the room is nice and warm during the colder months of the year. A dining table sits at one end of the room, behind which the kitchen area is well-equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, and fridge/freezer. A double bedroom can be found on this level of the apartment, as can the travertine-tiled bathroom with its shower-over-bath and WC. A door in the hallway opens onto an open-tread spiral staircase which leads up to the stunning master bedroom suite. This wonderfully spacious room has a double bed and a beautiful sleigh-bed cot, alongside a futon sofa which can be used to accommodate an extra guest, on request, for an additional cost. This room benefits from a sleek and chic en-suite shower room boasting a double shower and WC. To the side of the property there is a small communal garden area which guests have access to, whilst to the front of the property there is one designated parking space.
