Blaine's place is gorgeous and I loved exploring the island of Poro. Here are a few things to note: Pros: - Picturesque surroundings. Perfect for chilling - A beautiful cave close by for swimming - Blaine is very helpful and responsive - Comfy bed - The place is beautifully designed Cons: - The heat during the day (April) was intense and the building doesn't have natural shade which means that even the AC struggles during the day - If you don't have a scooter you'll have to walk 1,5km to buy food. There are small shops closer but they only sell snacks and drinks. - The ants will get into your food unless you keep food surrounded by water. You can ask Blaine to use the refrigerator It's a wonderful place and I love Blaine's sustainable approach to building a place. If you stay here for more than a few days, you should rent a scooter.

Me and my friends had the BEST stay in Blaine’s tiny house. We have been coming to camotes every year and this year has been the best so far because of this place. So peaceful and beautiful and Blaine is so so nice!!! We are coming back again soon!!!

This place is an ultimate escape from the crowd. Its a great place to chill. Plus, Blaine is so accommodating and such a friendly guy. Thank you for letting us use your rice cooker. The place is far from San Fran and there are no nearby restau but there are sari sari stores nearby. I recommend to bring you own ride so you can easily go in and out to buy what you need. Or if you dont have a ride I recommend you to bring all the stuff you need like food, water, etc. If you decide to cook, Blaine is willing to lend you some cooking needs. Night at the roofdeck is super cool! Thank you for making us feel at home.

Blaine is an amazing host and he has found a truly beautiful peaceful spot away from the chaotic city life. It's a perfect place to recharge and unplug if you desire or just relax and enjoy mother nature

This is a superb place to relax and swim in a natural volcanic made swimming pool. There are beaches and cave pools as well. Camotes is not a discovered place yet :)
