Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Way better than the description or pictures. Fishing off the pier is a real treat. You feel very safe getting out to the water as there are rails on either side of the walkway to the pier. Tradinghouse lake is one of the best kept secrets in Central Texas for fishing bass, catfish and crappie. And Battle Lake Golf Course is only about 10 minutes away and is a wonderful and friendly Texas country golf course. The fees are fairly priced and the folks at the club house are very kind. We were very comfortable in the house and enjoyed the amenities such as complementary coffee, great WiFi connection, comfortable beds and the view of the lake. I look forward to staying here again soon.
