Our family farmhouse dates back to 1875, has been recently refurbised & is located in the Irish countryside area of Rathbeagh just 5 minutes drive from Ballyragget & 20 minutes drive from Kilkenny City. The kitchen ceiling has been restored to showcase the origanal beams of the house from the original build. The downstairs doors are handcrafed from locally sourced oak. The chimney breast in the kitchen was also restored back to its' original brickwork. Located close to M7, M8 & M9 motorways. The house has 3 bedrooms, master bedroom with superking bed, second bedroom has a double bed and the third bedroom has a double sofa bed. There is one bathroom upstairs. Downstairs consists of a fully equipped kitchen and small utility with Stanley cooker, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, microwave, and Nespresso coffee machine. The kitchen has a dining table with 8 chairs. The large sitting room consists of a comfortable corner couch, 55 inch LG Smart TV with Netflix installed, WiFi, Alexa, and an open fire. Upstairs there is three bedrooms: Master bedroom: this bedroom has a superking size bed, 2 double wardrobes, 2 chest of drawers & 2 bedside lockers providing ample storage. Second bedroom: this bedroom contains a double bed, wardrobe & vanity unit, it also has a workspace including a corner desk, monitor & keyboard. There is an option of adding a double, double height, built in electric pump airbed in this spacious bedroom upon request. Please book the relevant number of people so that we can have this prepared for you. Third bedroom / office: this room consists of a dedicated office space equipped with a desk, monitor, headphones, keyboard, and mouse. This room contains a sofa bed, which can be pulled out to make a double bed. There are TP Link WiFi Mesh Extenders, meaning no dead WiFi spots around the house and located closely to the office spaces & sitting room. There is one bathroom upstairs that contains a toilet, washhand basin, towel rail & a large power shower. Outside, there is a spacious, enclosed & private garden with plenty of greenery & space to relax, where you will find an outdoor dining table & 6 chairs along with a small bistro set. Outside also boasts ample car parking spaces within the grounds of the house.
