A quick walk from downtown you'll find the Blueberry House. The space is located on the second floor of a recently renovated farm house from the 1880s. There are two bedrooms with the option of turning the living room into a third bedroom with a queen sofa bed and doors for privacy, a full bathroom with a tub, and a large eat in kitchen complete with dining table and a TV. In the warmer months there is a back porch with a dining set-up and grill. As noted, the space is on the second floor of the house which is completely locked off from the first floor where I live. You will need to go up one flight of stairs, but if I'm home I'm happy to assist with luggage. Please note this is an old farm house so the stairs are steeper and more narrow than today's standard. Use the hand railings and do not run up or down the stairs. I hope you'll enjoy the space as I've used it to host friends and family for the last few years and filled it with little personal touches. At the end of your stay there will be no "to-do" list or chores. I simply ask that beds used be left unmade and the door locked behind you.

The place was very comfortable and well equipped. It was also very convenient to walk to all downtown locations (stores, restaurants, beach, etc.). I would definitely stay again.
The place was fantastic, very clean and efficient, everything was just as listed. Bridgton is a beautiful area with plenty to see and do and Jessica’s place offers a great location in proximity to it all. Directions and instructions are clear and concise. Jessica has really thought of everything! We enjoyed a very comfortable and worry free weekend. Highly recommend as an excellent value for this area. We definitely plan to stay here when in this area!
Beautiful space, well decorated, all amenities were clearly indicated and well maintained. Comfy and warm dispute the storm the hit the area. This is a lovely space and so reasonably priced!
Jess was a fantastic host, very responsive, well stocked home, clean and open floor plan. Great kitchen, all appliances were there. She even had eggs and orange juice, just so sweet! Great place if youre looking for a quiet clean place to stay.
The blueberry house is a beautiful, historic farmhouse that has been converted into apartments. The apartment is cozy and beautiful, mixing historical pieces of the house with modern updates. Additionally, Jessica has thought of everything—from providing space heaters in every room, lots of board games and books, plenty of towels and toiletries, to kitchen extras like coffee and cooking odds and ends. She has a very detailed welcome packet with lots of info regarding the town and things to do as well as instructions on appliances in the house and clear check-out expectations. The stay was fantastic and in a great location—it's a very easy walk to downtown and plenty of activities. My husband and I can't wait to come back for a summer stay!

Downtown Bridgton is just a few minutes walk up the main street. If you're up for it, you can walk all the way to the beach at Highland Lake (about a mile) at the other end of the downtown.
As I'm sure you've noticed, I don't charge a cleaning fee. Instead I hope you'll use that extra cash to support the local businesses in town.
