We were Airbnb hosts in Sacramento for 13 years, and SuperHosts for the last several. We just moved back to Linda's hometown of Philadelphia, where we lived many years ago, and are starting Airbnb again. We had 632 reviews, with an average star rating of 4.93 at our former house. Welcome to our 3 story corner row house, with lots of charm and natural light. It has beautiful wood floors and exposed brick walls, filled with art from family and friends, and collected on trips around the world. We have a completely remodeled 1909 end unit row house. You’ll enter through our living room and go up the stairs. The second level is yours. We do have a room that we use as a closet there, but otherwise you have a lot of private space. Our bedroom is on the third floor.

This large comfortable bedroom with en suite bath in a beautiful home was perfect for being near family but having our privacy. We liked the easy street parking and quiet neighborhood, as well as easy access to shopping and dining in Mt. Airy.
I had a full house for a holiday and needed an extra room for my sister-in-law. I was delighted to find such an inviting place to stay in the neighborhood. The space itself is lovely -- with a private bathroom attached to the bedroom, along with a private kitchenette and access to an outdoor deck with a seating area. The house is in walking distance to the High Point cafe at Allen's Lane, where there is also a train stop to get to Amtrak and the airport.
Our stay with Linda and John was truly exceptional. Their accommodations were comfortable and welcoming, and the genuine warmth they exuded made our experience unforgettable. From the heartfelt conversations, we felt like cherished guests throughout our time with them. We wholeheartedly recommend staying with this lovely couple for a memorable and heartwarming Airbnb experience.

When we decided to move back to Philadelphia, we chose West Mount Airy. We are so glad we did! All the neighbors say, "This is the best neighborhood in Philadelphia!". Why? Everyone is so friendly and engaged. Walk one block and you're on Germantown Avenue, with local restaurants and shops. Walk one block in the other direction and there's the Richard Allen Lane train station. It's a quick and easy trip downtown. No need to use your car! The station also has a wonderful cafe, the High Point, and its own little park. Just cross the street and you access the Cresheim Trail system. From there, there are 50 miles of trails in the beautiful, verdant Wissahickon Park. It is a natural jewel!
You can park in front of our 3 car garage where the No Parking sign is. The Chestnut Hill West train line is a 5 minute walk from the house. It goes to 30th Street Station and downtown. The 23 bus on Germantown Ave is also a 5 minute walk. It goes to Chestnut Hill and downtown.

Linda and John are lucky to be able spend a lot of time together. We are bicyclists for decades, and we worked together in the cycling industry, specializing in custom clothing. When we moved we retired but are still doing product development. We love to meet new people whether traveling or hosting. We welcome all. We are fluent in Spanish and Italian and speak some Portuguese. We love our new friendly, engaged neighborhood!
