Perfect location next to Chateau Cheverny. Note: if the church bells every hour will bother you (they are directly across the street and fairly loud), then this isn’t the location for you. We didn’t mind it. Apartment is super clean, well appointed, includes tickets to the chateau, and they bring a lovely little breakfast basket at 9 am. We were here in the off season, so we had to drive for an open restaurant for dinner (many were closed for the holiday week), but the restaurant at St. Hubert close by had a nice set price menu and their cheese cart is a nice touch. Overall, a delightful stay.

Very happy stay in the Philippe suite! We greatly appreciated the cleanliness of the suite, heating everywhere and welcoming continental breakfast (brioche, chocolate-hazelnut spread, jam, butter, milk, orange juice, tea, coffee, hot cocoa), as well as a bottle of white wine from the chateau and local cookies. The suite furnishings are new/recent, in perfect working order, and the decoration is harmonious. We loved overlooking the quiet Cheverny property, with a glimpse of the chateau through the trees (lit up in pink at night!), hearing the sound of the nearby church bells during the day and breathing in fresh country air. While one side of the suites are next to the street, there is no noise disturbance, as Cheverny is a very calm village. Please be aware that entry is by lockbox and there is no support outside opening hours of the chateau (10-5 during our stay). Otherwise help is available at the Cheverny gift shop or ticket office a few steps away. The wine tasting shop is right next door, and each suite has its parking spot in the main parking lot of the chateau. Entry to the chateau, gardens and the fun Tintin exhibit, is free for every day of your stay. I highly recommend this suite.

Fantastic location on the grounds of the Chateau. Good restaurants nearby and even better that the suite was just above their wine tasting shop! Can't beat that.
