Welcome to our WeilHaus (we pronouce that "wheel" in Milwaukee). This cozy 2-bed apartment is centrally located on the southern end of Riverwest, close to the East Side, freeways, downtown, parks, bike trails and all the hip neighborhood goodness that Riverwest has to offer you. WeilHaus is one unit in a four-unit building with tons of old-fashioned charm. Enjoy a colorful, stylish retreat, with special books to read, art to enjoy, and thoughtful touches everywhere to help you feel at home. An upper rear apartment in a four-unit century old building in the community of Riverwest. The apartment is tucked away and lovingly curated, with tons of natural woodwork, delightful vintage decor, and a balcony overlooking a sweet little backyard. Two cozy bedrooms and a large eat in kitchen are yours, as well as books, records, art, board games and more.

We LOVED staying with Anna. The place was super cute and cozy and had so much charm. We loved the records and our favorite to play was Elliott Smith! The beds were so comfortable and the blankets were so comfortable, it felt like we were home. The coffee and granola were a nice touch. The balcony was super cute, we just wished there were two chairs :) we thought the location was great and the parking was super easy! We will be staying here again, we loved this place so much!
Anna’s place was warm, welcoming and friendly. She’s got beautiful furniture pieces and the bedrooms are cozy and sweet. My friend and I stayed here and we both thought we were waking up in our own beds in the morning because of how at home we felt - lol. Anna is a responsive and friendly host who was on top of the check-in. I would definitely stay here again on another trip to Milwaukee.
We had such a great time staying here on our recent trip to MKE. Everything was a short drive away and the apartment was cozy, safe, and beautifully decorated & maintained.
Our stay at Anna's Place was lovely! It's a beautiful period apartment and Anna has styled it perfectly! Although we didn't have a great deal of time to explore the area, the location was good and easy to find. And we loved having the big supermarket nearby! Anna's instructions were clear although it took us a few walks around the building to find the right door! My bad probably. (if you're looking at the front of the house, go through the gate on the right hand side, the door with the keypad on it is behind the screen door on that side of the house! We don't have screen doors in the UK!) The apartment itself is really sweet. The big kitchen had everything we needed for a short stay and the bed was extremely comfortable. The living room was really nice to hang out in with a great little selection of records.

Riverwest is diverse, community-oriented, and very, very hip. You're walking distance to the Reservoir Park, which turns into Kadish Park, and access to bike trails. The house sits close to the intersection of North Avenue and Humboldt, so you'll likely hear street traffic. The neighborhood is a fantastic mix of folks who truly strive to create community, and lots of great food and drink spots are in walking distance. You're also incredibly close to the East Side, as well as the freeway.
A car will make everything easy, but biking and busing are also options, especially because of our location close to bike trails and bus stops.
