I have now stayed in this apartment for two multi-week stays and Enrique has been a wonderful host both times. The apartment is extremely well located and has many different areas for sitting.
Enrique was great. He picked me up from the airport (would definitely recommend, as his pick-up is cheaper than the taxis at the airport). The place itself was cozy and you really feel like you have it all to yourself. It’s within a 5 minute walk to Hotel Presidente, where you can get great WiFi, and close to nice restaurants and bars in Vedado. Definitely recommend to solo travelers and couples alike.
I loved my stay here! Private apartment with great views from the balconies. Enrique is very responsive and helpful. It's a great location, too, very close to the Malecon which was nice. Thanks Enrique!
My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Enrique's apartment. The neighborhood felt safe, is within walking distance to wi-fi locations and a couple restaurants, is close to the ocean (about a 10-15 walk), and has a great view. It was really hot when we were there, but the bedroom air conditioner works great. Old Havana and Santa Maria beach are easy to get to via a taxi. Enrique's communication was extremely quick before and during our stay. There is a phone in the apartment if you need to call him for anything. He picked us up and dropped us off at the airport for a price that was cheaper than getting a taxi (thanks, Enrique!!). Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here.
We loved Enrique's place in Vedado. It is cozy with two great balconies, an spacious bedroom (great AC - Habana can get pretty hot), nice bathroom, and great living room/kitchen (great at night since nights bring a cool breeze). It is nicely located, close to the El Presidente Hotel (where you can get easy access to WiFi - remember to buy the WiFi access cards); walking distance to El Malecon, and a close car-taxi ride to the Zona Colonial, Plaza de la Revolucion, and other must see places. Enrique is super cool. He welcomed us at the airport; showed us the apartment, gave us some pointers, and ways to get in contact in case we needed. He was there at check out which I also appreciate. I recommend it!

I am a professional translator and interpreter. I serviced many years as intercultural mediator for a government agency, as official and even as a diplomatic officer. Now I am a freelancer and offer my private apartment to short term visitors who prefer an independent accomodation. 저는 1976년까지 쿠바에서 한국어(조선말)를 4년 동안 공부했고, 북한에서 2년 동안 유학을 하였습니다. 그 이후 쿠바 전문 번역/통역 센터(ESTI)에서 29년 동안 근무를 하면서 8년간 ESTI총국장까지 한 다음, 2006-2009년 사이 주평양 쿠바대사관의 부대사를 역임하였습니다.
