Julie was incredibly helpful. I wish I had known that one of the bedrooms was reached going through another and also that the bunk bed room is pretty musty and unusable. Otherwise it was perfectly fine for a bunch of lads for a couple nights. make note that everything is switched off and it takes some searching to find the fuse switches to get the showers and rads going. and bring extra jumpers!

The Mill is absolutely stunning, luxuriously furnished in beautiful surroundings. Lots of places to sit and enjoy the river and gardens. Julie is extremely friendly and made us feel so welcome. Communication was immediate and Julie gave us useful information about the area and suggestions for a days outing which we followed and had a lovely time. Highly, highly recommend. Thank you Julie.

We had a fantastic few days in Penegoes, Julie’s site is really lovely, relaxed and well equipped with a lot of flexibility for a mixed group. Julie is a great host who looked after us very well indeed.

What a find! This was a short stay with family to celebrate a birthday and we were absolutely delighted with our stay. The property itself is kept in great condition and has bags of character (the mill mechanisms outside and in were very interesting for our older and younger guests). Fabulous grounds, including a must do short walk around them along the stream. Incredibly friendly and responsive host. Julie gave us a very warm welcome and some useful tips, including best beaches to visit. Very close to local town Machynlleth, which has a characterful high street with plenty of unique independents shop. We had an evening meal at Number Twenty One which was excellent. We occupied The Mill and The Caravan. The various properties on the grounds make this a superb option for large groups travelling together, but equally we would have no qualms staying in one whilst others were occupied. Lovely mix of each having their own privacy but plenty of communal spaces should they be needed. We would absolutely return and recommend to friends and family.
