The location was not revealed until after payment was sent and at that time a no refund policy was also revealed. I will say however that I felt safe in the house and it was very secured with no weird street activity in the street. The only negative was that the dryer was broken and there was never any direct response to any of my questions including one where I was requesting an earlier check in time. I ended up requesting an additional day just to meet the need. Great place though and very clean
The place inside was nice and was what I expected the outside was not good at all and because I have never been to Chicago I did not know the area and if I would have know the area we were staying in I would NOT have chosen this Air B&B for me and my family to come and stay in its in "Englewood" and I do not recommend for anyone to stay in that area of Chicago BARS ON EVERY DOOR/WINDOW AND YARD OF EVEN THE HOUSES INCLUDING THIS LOCATION AND SECURITY GAURDS AT EVERY SINGLE STORE, RESTAURANT, PUBLIC PLACE AROUND... You don't want yo ho outside at night alone that's foe sure.... the inside of this place was very nice and clean and I would recommend staying at a place with this host as long as you know exactly where the location of the place is at she was very nice friendly and responsive and we had all we needed to be able to treat this place as if it were our own home for the 3 nights we stayed
Pam’s place was pretty great beds were very comfortable for me and my friends! Only complaints we really had was the mirror randomly fell off the wall in the main room and unfortunately the dryer wasn’t working during our stay. We contacted Pam to inquire about the dryer and unfortunately it wasn’t fixed during our week stay in Chicago but overall the house was comfortable and felt safe for the area that we were in. Overall rating 8.5.
