Luca has a team of 6 that live next door and manage the house - and they are incredibly wonderful! They were so welcoming and made our stay wonderful. You’ll book this place for the back patio and view. I’ve never stayed so close to the ocean! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The sound of the waves. Amazing! Skip the blue and white restaurant on the corner. Ask to have Manuel drive you to La Marea or El Laurel instead. ($5 each way - or walk about a 1.5 mile walk). Say yes to breakfast! $8 is a bargain for the delicious and plentiful spread and they will accommodate the time you want to get up. The home’s layout is unique - there are two front doors; but then an exterior staircase. The second floor bedrooms are reminiscent of a motel. No problem for older kids and adults but I woul be a challenge with small kids. The area was safe and lots of local people out shopping, visiting and swimming. Can’t say enough that the hosts were lovely, warm people who we are glad to have met

Luca was very friendly and helpful. He gave us local recommendations and accommodated us very well! The place and staff were nice and provided us with breakfast when we asked. The location is good, not too far from the main area but also next to the ocean, so best of both worlds! Would recommend this place.

The vesino/neighbor Manuel was recommended to me by the host when I asked him if he could call me a taxi. Taxi’s are expensive so I’m glad they gave me a good deal with Manuel and I’m grateful for it. Manuel can take you to point A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, M, N, O, & P for the price of 1 taxi ride from point A to B. They also gave me a good deal on Cuban Puro Cigars..I got one for free and two Puro Cigars for $2 each. You could get 10 Puro Cigars for the price of one Puro Cigar on the Cuban market…great deal! Nice air conditioned room and beautiful view!

What Luca has created here is very special. His beautiful home was as described. Very spacious, relaxing and we all felt at home. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Yani and Carlos, who were so sweet, nice, and help us with our every need during the trip. From arranging our daily transportation, tours, restaurant recommendations, and cooking at the house. Yani and Carlos were truly a gift and made our trip the great. We were also thankful for Fernando who did our tour of Old Havana. He was simply amazing, gave us so much history and he really took care of us. Also Peter, who was a daily driver. He was awesome and available at any time of the day or night. Overall, this was one of my best trips and Luca and his teams did any amazing job. Thank you so much.

This place was the most amazing combination of authentic Cuba and family with such a beautiful view and atmosphere. Carlos and Yanay were both so warm and welcoming and friendly and there was nothing we couldn’t ask for. They handled getting us drivers everywhere and Lazaro was the best one of all! He was so attentive and knowledgeable and I highly recommend asking for him for anything! The whole trip was exactly what I wanted and our hosts were very much responsible for that. If you want authentic Cuba and not touristy Cuba then I highly recommend! It was my birthday trip and my hosts even had the house decorated for me when I arrived from my day in Los Viñales which I loved! Yanay came in the morning to offer us cafecitos and the house was always clean and restocked with fresh towels and waters when we returned home. I can’t say enough good things! Memories for a lifetime. Siempre Cuba 🇨🇺
