Canterbury’s nook is a Ground floor apartment in the heart of the historic city centre of Canterbury, nestled within the city walls, and a few steps away from the beautiful West Gate gardens. Situated perfectly within the city centre, next to all what Canterbury has to offer! However peacefully tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the town. A few steps out the front door, and you will find yourself surrounded by the beauty of this city and famous sightseeing spots. Canterburys Nook is a Ground floor apartment set in the heart of Canterbury. Beautifully nestled within the city walls, you won’t find a space like the Canterburys Nook! Perfect location for what this historic city has to offer. A quick 2 minute walk away from The Canterbury Cathedral and other museums. A cosy stay in a historic city for the fraction of a price of local accommodations. You will not find a property more central! We are a quick five minute walk from Canterbury West station which offers the high speed train to London, being at St Pancras within 55 minutes. A short 5 minute walk to Canterbury bus station, we are also located to a bus stop which has quick links to Whitstable. The most perfect location for all your travel needs! Canterburys Nook has an Open plan kitchen/lounge area. Small dining table for 2 people, cosy sofa and smart TV with apps such as Netflix. WiFi. All useful and essential amenities included to have a cosy-home like stay! We have a single bed that pulls out, very cosy to sleep on and we can make this up on request to be put in the lounge or bedroom! This bed is stored in the wardrobe if required throughout your stay. Kitchen has a hob, fridge/freezer and oven. Microwave, kettle, toaster. Bedroom consists of a double bed, with built in wardrobes. 2 bedside tables. Mirror. Separate bathroom with a bath/shower. Outside the apartment is a small space with chairs perfect for a morning coffee or a glass of wine! The perfect home from home feel, whether it’s a short or long stay, You won’t find a unique little place like this!

We loved our stay! It’s close to the city center, loads of great restaurants, shops and bars, trains are nearby but none of that you’ll notice when you’re in the apartment. We were so surprised how quiet it was. I loved the bath, my partner loved the couch;) Lorraine took really good care of us and send a lot of information about the house. Accept from some little details, this house was perfect! When we return to Canterbury, we will certainly stay here again!!

I couldn’t recommend this place enough - perfect location, beautiful place, incredibly friendly hosts - it was perfect! A 30 second walk on to the main high street yet perfectly nestled away! Lovely hosts - 1000000% recommend ❤️
Canterbury's Nook was clean, comfortable, central and, considering how close it was to the busy High St, very quiet. Communication about access to the flat and things to do in the city was excellent Robin
A very pleasant stay at Lorraine’s. I would highlight the location, which was in the heart of the city so easy to get around and enjoy Canterbury. Beyond the well presented and spotless apartment, Lorraine was a good host - easy to contact and knows the city well. ✨ Also be ready to be welcomed with a note with your name on it. It was a light touch but it made me laugh and feel more welcomed. 👏🏾

There is multiple paid parking areas within Canterbury, and a large parking complex by Canterbury West station. Contact us for further info! Please note there is no parking on premises.

Canterbury West train station is a brisk 6 minute walk from the Nook. With the high speed train close by, you can be at London St Pancras within an hour.
Canterbury East is a 12 minute walk.
Canterbury bus station is located on St George's Lane in the city centre. The station has sheltered waiting areas and there are public toilets in the Whitefriars shopping centre opposite.
