My family and I came to town for the Jim Thorpe Area running festival. We loved the space, the beds were all very comfortable, the location is so peaceful and private. Melody was so communicative throughout booking, check in and check out, we appreciate everything she did to make our stay special. We will definitely be back!

Had a super relaxing stay. Everything was clean. Plenty of games and books to keep you occupied. The remoteness was perfect. The pellet fireplace and the outside fire pit were our favorites. Melody was so sweet and provided everything we needed for a wonderful weekend.

The place was clean and spacious. The location was quiet. We made several meals in the kitchen during our stay. It wasn’t far from town. Wished the weather was better so we didn’t take advantage of using the fire pit.

We had a quiet , peaceful & lovely couple of days at the Bear Mountain Cabin . Very clean , cozy & private ! Though some of our plans were dampened by rains we still were able to visit the Hickory Run State Park , hike the Hawk Falls trail & the Sand springs lake/ beach and creek was a quiet tranquil place to visit . The park’s new visitor center had some cool structures representing all the park has to offer with educational info about each . Our teen boys loved their room - esp the color changing L.E.D lights in their room around the TV was a nice touch ! Almost each separate area has a thermostat so you can set the temp to what you are comfortable at , for that area which wasvery thoughtful . In the colder months the wood pellet stove in the living room I’m sure would be great to have on as well.(We did not need it - but they had everything needed available ) Hosts are very responsive and we thank them for sharing their quaint cabin with us 😊 Will def.stay again if in the area 😊
