We stayed at the Lay Lodge for 5 nights & 6 days while our teens attended the Summer Football Camp at Clemson. We wanted to be close, but also be able to relax! This lodge has breathtaking surroundings, the peaceful sounds of the waterfall and the property has beautiful landscaping. With the gated entrance and plenty of outdoor lighting, door locks, etc, we felt very safe. The hot tub was PERFECT after our long days of walking. We took full advantage of the well stocked kitchen and outdoor grill. We grilled and cooked everyday! Having coffee on the deck by the fall & the sounds of the fall was serene and such a sweet start to the day. The lodge was clean, plenty of towels, board games, outdoor seating, clean hot tub, well-maintained property, beautiful landscaping, and clean beds and sheet. Megan was extremely responsive. We had a couple of minor issues that were immediately addressed and taken care of. Our family of 5 absolutely loved this place and we look forward to coming back!

One of a kind stay. View is breathtaking! Outdoor entertainment space is special and well equipped. Relaxed in rocking chairs while drinking coffee and taking in the sound of the waterfall and beauty of the rocks. Hot tub hit the spot after a day on the lake. Highly recommended and would stay again.
