This lovely mountain home sits right on the tributary of the Cuchara River & the Dodgeton Creek in the village of Cuchara. The home features an open floor plan, cathedral ceilings, and a breakfast room overlooking the Dodgeton Creek. You can hear the river & see the river from most rooms in the house. Decks located in the front and back of the home providing extra entertaining space and a great place to enjoy the river. DOGS STAY FREE! Bring the whole family and your best friend. The Cuchara's River House is very spacious with plenty of room for everyone in your group to spread out. There are 3 decks; 1 in the front and 2 in the back, all riverside. The front deck is gated for your dogs or small children. We have a breakfast room that sits over the creek, a little library hangout room, and a card table in the living room. There is plenty of board games, a ring toss on the front deck and lots of books to read. The primary bedroom with a private bath is on the main floor and is easy access for those with mobility issues. There are two bedrooms and a loft bedroom upstairs and a bedroom downstairs, riverside. We have 3 bathrooms; one upstairs, one on the main floor, and one in the primary bedroom. You're welcome to park on our covered bridge, the driveway is a private drive.
