Prince's Grant is an amazing Estate, peaceful and beautiful. The house was smaller than expected, especially the main room upstairs. It was difficult to open verandah doors as the one didnt work and it opened inwards against the bed. The bathroom was extremely small as was the shower. There are no bins in any of the rooms or bathrooms making it awkward for sanitary purposes. The lounge was comfy but with no DSTV or other options available. View wasnt much from lounge either. Braaing wasnt easy either as there was no covered area to braai when it started to rain. The sliding door wasnt working for the large downstairs room, so rooms were very stuffy. Kitchen utensils were tired looking. And we found there was a shotage of plates, dessert bowls and cutlery so washing constantly was needed, thank goodness for dishwasher. Lara was very accommodating regarding an early check-in.
