The bedroom was as described. We didn’t sleep there so only used it for our bags for a few hours and left early hours. It was clean and tidy. The fridge mentioned is very small one of those can fridges and we had brought wine and some food to store which we couldn’t. The bathroom is past the owners house so in the middle of the night you walk outside and the dogs start barking. There was no tv in the room but plenty of books and a piano. It’s not something I would book again we stayed down the location looking for the northern lights and climbed the sugar loaf as this is just at the bottom of the car park ideal location. But I prefer the comforts of a bathroom in the room and a tv and a bigger fridge in the room. The hosts were good at communicating but we didn’t meet them as we left at 230am.

Such a lovely place to stay and super responsive hosts. Given the remote location we were sent some fantastic, clear instructions to get there. We got a lovely welcome when we arrived to explain heating (which was very good) etc. Lots of lovely touches like homemade jam and plenty of water to save trips for refills. The bathroom, just a short walk down the property, is beautifully tiled and toasty warm. It felt so tranquil & luxurious. Such a lovely property & friendly hosts, we’d definitely book for the area again.

We had such a fantastic stay with Fred & Sian in the beautiful Brecon Beacons. Superbly located just under the Sugar Loaf car park, the barn was exactly as described, comfortable and cozy, especially with the heating on! Fred & Sian kindly left us snacks, breakfast items (including milk and two types of homemade jam!) and various teas and coffees which was such a lovely touch. The bathroom was spotless with a very hot and powerful shower, just about 10 metres away from the barn but easily accessible. Fred & Sian were on hand throughout and super responsive - we can’t recommend them highly enough! Perfect spot for a walking holiday in the Brecon Beacons.

A tranquil, relaxing space that when accompanied by the friendly welcome meant it really felt like a home from home! Sian and Fred where able to advise me on the local area and went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my stay. Make sure you go up the sugar loaf as the views are epic!
