This place is so perfect. They have such unique decor and had so many personal touches. They even had balloons for my daughter whose birthday we were celebrating while there. They stayed in contact with us and gave us privacy. Such a wonderful place. Loved that they let their guest sign a post in the home. Such an amazing place. A great experience to get away and lose track of time.

Before we left the driveway on our way home the kids were asking when we could come back. The house was cozy and there were whimsical touches tucked in everywhere. It was extremely peaceful and I don’t think we’ve slept that well in ages. The house and property were even better in person than in the photos. Jeff and Leslie were wonderful hosts and even had the fire pit going for our arrival meaning the kids didn’t have to wait a second to do s'mores. We were celebrating our youngest birthday and Leslie had set up some birthday touches that made her feel incredibly special. If you need a peaceful place to unwind and unplug this is the place for you. We can’t wait to come back again.

We were really happy with our stay! Some other reviews mentioned some things about the kitchen and bathroom as potential negatives, but you have to see this as a little lake cabin, not a fully featured house. It’s got quirks and it’s very charming and completely worth the nightly rate. Campfires, lake sounds, star gazing, all of it. A very cute stay that’s well beyond camping but still feels like an adventure.

We absolutely loved the home, lots of charm and warmth. Just we needed for a weekend getaway! Very tranquil looking at the lake and rocking on the front porch! We are planning to come back in the fall, dog woods and fall foliage will be a view to see.
