It is also one of the earliest homes built in the historic sought after Warm Sands neighborhood of Palm Springs. Your hosts are Jim (Canadian) and Sebastian (American). Palm Springs City ID# and TOT Permit # 033232 A 10-minute walk takes you to Palm Canyon Drive and Arenas Road with fine restaurants, bars, and stores. Ralph’s, CVS, and Jensen’s grocery are nearby. The Casita is a 2-minute walk to Townie Bagels and the vintage shops district of Palm Springs. Galleries and museums are also nearby. Savor this light filled space with wood beam ceilings, authentic Saltillo tile floors, adobe walls, arches, and wood shutters. Unwind by the pool, adding to this restful experience. French doors open out to a private patio, creating the quintessential California outdoor experience. Indulge yourself with full access to the lush garden, outdoor lounge, al fresco dining areas, private patios, outdoor hot/cold shower, spaces for reading, sunbathing, and grilling on a Weber gas BBQ. The pool is naturally heated mid-May through October. At other times. heating pool can be arranged for a no-profit surcharge with one day notice. Pool heating can be booked with a three-day minimum stay. With 450 sq. feet, the casita includes fully equipped modern kitchen with bespoke cabinets, full size refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee station, Smeg toaster, blender, colorful hand painted tiles, copper sink, and an extensive array of cooking utensils and enameled pots and pans. Original antique iron bed (high end hypo-allergenic mattress and all cotton linens). Dining area with chairs overlooking pool and garden. Walk-in closet has ample storage that’s ideal for longer stays. Bathroom includes large walk-in tiled shower with waterfall shower head (with complimentary body wash/shampoo/conditioner), vanity with Kohler sink & hand painted tiles, full length dressing mirror, Kohler toilet, hair dryer & clothing steamer.
