We spent a wonderful vacation in the Alina's house. The beach is 5 mins walking. Beach chairs and a lot of beach toys are provided. Walkable distance to Marine. Very close to Sarasota downtown and Venice. The pool is nice and warm. The only minor complaint it wasn't clear from photos on how isolated the "extra bedroom on the lower level". You have to go downstairs and through the garage to get there. A person who was planning to sleep there decided to sleep in the living room. Overall I highly recommend the house and the host! We had a great time in Sarasota!

We had a great stay at Alina's condo! This condo is all about the great location and 3 minute walk to the beach. There is a superb amount of beach toys and pool floaties that were great for my son! We loved using the pool however there are some very nosey neighbors. The condo is just a 10 minute walk to 7/11, a drugstore, Jakes Ice cream (which we loved,) a few bars and Captain Curt's fun little area! The furniture in the in the condo is definitely outdated and uncomfortable. And there is just not enough seating overall in the living room if you do have 6 people, there's only 3 real places to sit. Patio furniture is falling apart. The mattresses in the house are 45 years old and very uncomfortable. The 2nd level toilet handle in the bathroom also kept falling off so that was a bit annoying. But we still very much enjoyed our stay and Alina is a great host who let us stay late on our checkout day due to an issue with our flights!

The place was spacious & close enough to the beach/shops on a short walk, but far enough away that you could get away from the madness if you needed a more relaxing time. The basement bedroom unit worked well for my teenage son & his friends to allow them the freedom to come & go as they pleased, however, the bedroom did not have air conditioning & the beds were very thin mattresses on a metal base. These conditions were fine for my son & friends who would have gladly slept on a floor somewhere, but as an adult I would not have wanted to sleep in that room. A large fan was provided which did help.The rest of the house was satisfactory & served its purpose, it could stand to have new mattresses, pillows, linens, & dishes. The pool area was nice, however, you were not allowed to be loud (not ideal for teenage boys who would prefer to wrestle around & listen to loud music) and it closed at dusk. Overall this place would be a good option for some, but definitely wouldn’t work for everyone.

The location is nice, with an easy walk to the beach and with a semi-private pool shared with the other units in the facility. Parts of the unit, however, could really use some updating and many essentials were missing - for example, hand soap containers were present but were filled with water. Refrigerator was unplugged upon our arrival and had a noticeable smell (fixed with cleaning and some baking soda). The master bed is a full, which is fine, but is rather uncomfortable and seems to slope to one side. Bath towels are random, old, and mis-matched. There was also animal droppings on the cement near the pool. In summary, unit and location are fine, but many things could all use a brief refresh, as other reviewers have also noted - some new mattresses, towels, and inclusion of some basic amenities would make it all a higher quality experience.

The townhouse is in a great location – a short walk to the beach and to great restaurants. The beach is beautiful, with white sand and clear aqua water. The sunsets are must-see. The townhouse is well appointed, equipped with many beach items. There is a full-size washer and dryer on the ground level, which was handy. The townhouse is a touch dated, and the layout would be tricky if non-family were sharing it. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with a toilet and sink, and a shared shower is between these. A second shower is through the garage. You can get to the beach from two access points. One puts you in front of two resorts, and they reserve space for their guests only. Further down, Crescent Beach at Point of Rocks, is open to all. This is the end of the beach and space gets a little limited. The main Siesta Key Beach is 1.5 miles away. Easy by bike, trolley, and plenty of parking. This beach is enormous, and has showers, food/drink on site. Alina was extremely easy to work with
