Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This is a residential area without stores, bars or restaurants, so it remains peaceful over the summer, yet is a 2 min drive to busy public and private beaches and entertainment. This wooden cabin accomodates 4 guests in two oversized beds plus a child on a very comfortable couch. Meals can be arranged at extra cost. Surrounded by a spacious garden and an outside jaccuzi, it provides the perfect combination of tranquility and action.

Schinias beach is a 10-min walk from the property, a 1-min drive. Many bike right to the beach, perhaps the longest sandy beach in Attika. Part of the beach is serviced by businesses and has all the amenities (showers, bars, water sports), another part has nothing at all except large pine trees reaching down to crystal-blue waters. It is marvelous and well worth visiting.
You can reach Schinias by cab from the airport or by public transport (Airport to Rafina, then bus 310 to Marathon). From Athens, the drive is about 45 minutes or you can come by the East Attika KTEL service, which starts at the blue line Metro Station "Nomismatokopeio".

I am a Greek American clinical psychologist, trained in the U.S., where I had lived for 15 years. I love my chosen field of study and spend many hours a day working with people or reading on psychology topics. I work many many many hours. I spend every free moment with my two adolescent children, whom I adore. I do no housework, except for cooking for special occasions (and only for special occasions!). Other than that, I am a very social, extroverted and relaxed individual. I enjoy sipping on wine and trying good food, especially new tastes. I enjoy traveling but have very little time to allocate to this activity. I enjoy interesting company. I enjoy smart people. And I am a liberal, that is, I believe in "live and let live".
