Very good place to stay beautiful gardens and Gardner really looked after us, we stayed 2 nights to finish our St Lucia experience holiday and it was excellent however didn’t realise how far the walk was to the lodge good job we had the Gardner to help with luggage, I would highly recommend the place the waterfalls were stunning and refreshing however not so private as the locals do use it too.. all in all fab time spent in jungle but make sure you have your shopping with you as no local shops nearest massy supermarket was 20minutes drive.

Our stay was great. The space is simple, comfortable and everything works well. The cabin is all one room containing the main bed, a second narrow single bed, kitchen, dining table etc, plus a bathroom with a door. There was no couch from the photos, which was fine. We cooked our meals and had them on the porch. The walk from the road to the house was very manageable and not particularly steep in terms of hiking trails. The road to the location is excellent. Meeting Lambert and chatting with him gave us a sense of belonging. Lambert has interesting views and conversations with him were very interesting. We appreciated the time he spent with us. We walked to the waterfall, dipped in the water, and continued on the path up the other side of the ravine where you can reach another village. We also river walked in the stream. The walks were comfortable on our own. It was great that we occasionally met a farmer walking by, and also had short visits from sweet and shy cat and dog.

Beautiful location surrounded by all sorts of tropical fruit trees. It's about halfway down the ravine to the river, so a bit of a steep hike, but then you're quite isolated. Bring your own food and you can spend an entire day enjoying the property.

Basic but very adequate accommodation. Well-eqiupped kitchen; comfy bed. The vast garden is paradise (I'm not exaggerating!) Truly spectacular! The most amazing trees, plants and flowers - absolutely beautiful. You can wander around to your heart's content. Full of birds - hummingbirds, bold little finches, bananaquits, 'chicken hawks', and even a St Lucia parrot (very lucky!) Take binoculars if you can. Beautiful butterflies, little green lizards, fireflies. We absolutely loved it and discovered new things every day. If you like being emersed in nature, then this is perfect! Worth taking insect repellant if you want to wander about in shorts. It's a lovely walk to the river and waterfalls, and there is a steep path to the little village of Lamas. Lambert the gardener is an absolutely lovely man - a quiet, modest guy who tends the graden with skill and dedication. Really friendly and helpful, and helped with our luggage up and down the steep bumpy path to the house. Thanks so much!

This was a unique experience staying about 500 steps into the jungle. If you are looking for an alternative experience in nature this will not disappoint. The cabin was clean and well equipped. I especially enjoyed swimming in the nearby waterfalls.
