Relax at Kilby Lake Campground in our beautiful log cabin, the Rabbit Retreat. This camping cabin is a perfect transition to camping; rustic enough to immerse yourself in the outdoors without the hassle of sleeping on the ground in a balmy tent! Share in our nature-centric campground and wander through the tranquil woods. If you desire more action, head to the playground, play a game of cornhole, paddle around the lake, or lounge in our heated pool that is open seasonally. Rabbit Retreat is a rustic log sleeping cabin that includes a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker, AC and heater. Please note the cabin is not furnished with bedding, so you will need to provide your own pillows, sheets and/or sleeping bag. A water spigot, picnic table, and your personal fire pit are located right outside your door. There is not a bathroom inside the cabin, but there are two bathhouses, one centrally located ~40 yards from the cabin and a second located near the pool. PET POLICY We look forward to providing a memorable stay for you and your pet. To ensure the comfort and enjoyment of our guests, the following policies apply to your pet’s stay. 1. Acceptable Pets We welcome up to 1 friendly, non-aggressive, well mannered dog under 50 lbs. Dogs must be vaccinated for rabies (proof of vaccination may be requested). We cannot accommodate cats due to allergies. We reserve the right to require immediate removal of any pet that displays dangerous or unacceptable behavior, including, but not limited to, biting, excessive noise (such as barking), evidence of disease, or presence in non-permitted areas. Each guest is responsible for their pet and all charges that relate to the removal of their pet, including but not limited to transportation and kennel charges. 2. If room fumigation is required due to pest infestation or excessive cleaning necessary, an additional fee over and above the cleaning fee will apply and will be automatically billed to the credit card on file. 3. Pet-Friendly Areas Pets are allowed only in the following areas: your designated campsite/cabin, nature trails, and roads. Pets are never allowed in the playground area, pool area, lakefront, or common buildings (including bathhouses and the pavilion). Please dispose of bagged pet waste only in the dumpsters provided. 4. Pet Control / Containment Pets must be leashed and under control at all times while on the campground premises. Pets may never be left unattended in the cabin or while leashed outside (including by the pool area). There is an off-leash dog park in Montello, 1 mile away. 5. Damage to Cabins and Common Areas Your credit card on file will be charged for the repair or replacement cost for any damage caused by your pet.
