This place was not as advertised. Everything was kind of broken/not in working order. The shower drain didn’t work and ended up flooding the bathroom. When we asked for help we did not receive a prompt solution and were told to wait until the morning. We were made to go down into the basement ourselves to get extra towels for mop up. After complaining, someone did come to fix the drain while we were out at dinner, but they left urine in the toilet. Dust covered most surfaces including the coffee cups and spoons, and there were no Nespresso pods, so it was clear that machine was full of standing water in disuse for quite some time. The bed springs dug into our backs all night. The power also went out in the middle of the night which prevented people from being able to enter the building. We were awoken at 4am to someone banging on our windows for entry. The water shut off unexpectedly the next day and the fire alarm went off. We left early.

He wanted to put an end to having to trawl through hundreds of average listings to find something special.
