先说不足吧： 1.洗衣机是不在屋内的，不可以随时使用，一周酒店可以帮洗一次。2.厨房也被告知是不可以使用的。 3.泳池也只能免费使用一次。 4.入住的第二天发现是洗脸池下水口坏了，但是之后修好下水口的师傅却把冷水给我们搞没有了，然后第三天又和酒店说让人维修，当天晚上没有修好，说第四天会有同伴来修，结果也没有修。第五天就走了，也就算了～ 5.马桶上接的冲淋龙头水有异味。 6.浴室只有一个顶部大花洒，不适合带小的孩子洗澡。 再来说说好的： 酒店地址离海滩，商场和吃饭地方都不太远，步行都可以到达，服务态度也是比较好，虽然没给我修好冷水，但是态度都还是比较和蔼可亲的～房间内的电器设备和装修风格都是很不错的～地方也非常的宽敞

When I booked the place for one month the cancelation policy was flexible. Something urgent came up for me and I asked the host to move my dates for one week ahead. I didn't want to cancel my stay but to change the dates for one week ahead which were available on his calendar. The host completely refused to cooperate and changed the cancelation policy from flexible to strict. He refused to make any changes. And the communication with him was very unpleasant as he wasn't replying in a timely manner. Sometimes it would take 3-5 days for him to get back! Basically ignoring my request. I paid for one month and stayed there for 3 weeks even though the calendar was open to change the dates and it was flexible cancelation upon booking. So if you plan to stay here and you think that you might have some change of plans. Forget about being able to change anything. When I got the place, the studio didn't have any shampoo, conditioner, hair drier etc..Those are all the things that were included in the amenity list. Lakely I was able to get them the second day after talking to the hotel staff. A quick note about the hotel staff. The hotel staff is very nice and helpful. But that's their job. Next, before booking Erik's studio I read a bad review about the window being broken so you couldn't lock it. I asked Erik if it has been fixed and he said that the window was fixed. After a couple of nights, I found out that the huge sliding window was unlocked and anybody could enter the place. I felt extremely frustrated as I have a lot of expensive things with me. I felt unsafe and was lied to about it being fixed. I had to ask the hotel staff to fix it but the way they fixed it with some nails so you can't open it. So the air in the studio is very heavy because there is no fresh air coming in. Only AC.. About the hotel location. If you're coming for a couple of nights you might enjoy Kuta, but if you're planning a longer trip I advise you to not stay in Kuta. Because it's extremely busy and you won't like the energy much. I've been traveling the world for 3 years and this is my second time to Bali. So I know what I'm talking about. Don't look at reviews that everything is nearby. It will take you a long time to get from one place to another because there is one-way main road next to the hotel so when you're coming back you have to make circles to get to the hotel. So do yourself a favor and choose either Seminyak, Canggu area ( if you want to stay close to the beach and have options for nightlife and good restaurants) If you don't care staying next to the beach check out Ubud area. If you do decide about Kuta there are much nicer places than Dekuta hotel. And for this price, that you're paying for Erik's place you can rent a whole villa elsewhere. This was my first and last time staying in Kuta at a hotel and overpaying for what it is. 

 Recap. *The worst experience with the host in the last 3 years of renting Airbnb places. *Not a good location if you want to really feel the spirit of Bali. *There is always lots of traffic in Kuta. I'm coming from LA. But Kuta traffic is worst than LA with lots of air pollution from all the motorbikes. *Overpriced for what it is. *No fresh air in the studio. *I don't recommend this place. Very spacious and stylish apartment. Much better than i expected. everything was clean. highly reccomend!
