Mrs. Katie was super helpful and kind. The room was very clean as well. 😊 However, this rental is not private at all. Very thin walls and you are sharing a very small plot of land with two other vacation rentals. Could hear conversations outside while I was inside Studio A.

The experience of staying at Katie's studio is an extension of the friendly, vibrant Cajun culture! Just added to the joy and fun of being in Lafayette area for New Years. Katie's hosting style is clear and thoughtful. The apartment had everything we needed to be comfortable, ie, a very clean space, a quiet street, a comfortable bed, plenty of towels, great set up for making coffee, etc. with a variety of appliances organized in a compact area! Loved the mugs and dishes. Also liked the decor especially the Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys posters! The Mardi Gras decorations were going up as we were leaving. Sure hope to be back soon. This Super Host was great!

My sister and I enjoyed our stay here while we visited family for the holidays. The place was comfy and felt like a small home away from home. All of the amenities on the listing were accurate. The place looked exactly like the pictures. Katie was also extremely sweet, accommodating, and proactive with the necessary information. I mentioned a couple minor things to Katie privately as constructive feedback, and she responded with willingness to correct them. One of them had to deal with the space being a little cooler than expected, even with the heating system on. But again, she plans to fix this. Overall, great experience!! I plan to return in the future.
