This lovely little cabin was perfect for us as a family. Clean and with plenty of space for us to cook/eat and to hang out. Had everything we needed cater for ourselves and had some great outdoor facilities it was just a bit to cold for us to brave (like a massive barbeque and fire pit full of ice). The WiFi was strong and there was a great TV if you needed it. The cabin was beautifully warm when we arrived and was always cosy. The hot tub was also gorgeous after our days out and we even got to see some beautiful sunsets and faint norther lights from very close to the cabin. It was also brilliantly situated place for us to explore the surroundings and wider south coast region, but still within easy reach back to the airport for when we sadly had to leave. Alli (Adalsteinn) was really helpful and responsive when we arrived (and I couldn't work something out) and our issue was quickly resolved over the phone. Great hosting. All in all, a great place to stay.

We stayed in multiple cabins during our trip to Iceland, and this one was by far our favorite. It was small and cozy, but still had everything you could possibly need (the tiny washing machine was very nice to have after a week of hiking). I can't say enough good things about this cabin, our entire group fell in love with it. It was absolutely adorable inside and out! The beds were comfortable, we stayed warm all day and night, and loved watching movies in the common space at the end of our long days. We were able to see the northern lights for 3 out of the 4 nights we stayed, from the driveway and in the hot tub.
