Tranquil, comfortable, spacious and artful. 3-bedroom, 2.5 bath home with a pool, large back area in a quiet neighborhood overlooking rolling hills and the Carquinez Strait. A bike ride to lovely water-side parks, the Benicia State Recreation Area. 8 minute drive to downtown Benicia. 2 minute drive to supermarket and plentiful shopping center. New kitchen appliances, laundry. Fully finished lower level offers an additional hang spot with TV, wet bar and sliding door leading out to the pool. Note: this is my house :) We live here, but won't be using it for around 6 weeks. We'd love to have guests enjoy the house and will be available via text for any questions or recs. Most personal items will be neatly put away, but this isn't exactly a typical rent-only kind of space. We’re looking for longer-stay guests. 10 day minimum please. A great way to enjoy Benicia and get a feel for life in an adorable little town. I work in San Francisco and often take the ferry from Vallejo, which is a 12 minute drive from the house. A super cool commute! The ferry ride is one hour, arriving at the San Francisco Ferry Building next to the Bay Bridge with access to BART, walkable to Union Square, Chinatown, North Beach and more, of course. I also treasure the Ferry Building, filled with charm and sweet spots to catch a bite. And on the subject of work, etc - office is just off the master. Two big desks and view of the water! Fast and dependable wifi works in all rooms.
