Welcome to our SE4 retreat! With two good-sized double bedrooms, bright and spacious lounge, well-equipped kitchen/dining area, it's your ideal London stay! Enjoy easy access to transport, with Brockley Overground station just 5 minutes walk away. Giving you access to the Overground and Southern Railway. From there, you have quick access to the Underground, with the Jubilee line being close. Explore Central London or nearby gems like Blackheath and Greenwich. Welcome! The apartment is part of an early/mid Victorian, end-of-terrace property situated in the Brockley Conservation Area. Commensurately, the rooms are spacious and airy with high ceilings, lots of natural light (southerly aspect) and with pleasant views over the patio garden and the lush, well-maintained arboreal neighbouring gardens. The modern interior styling retains a couple of (non-functional) period fireplaces. There is a private garden out the back for guests to make use of and enjoy! Inside the property, you are greeted with a large and airy lounge. In here you will find several armchairs, one large sofa, tv and a traditional fireplace (non functional). The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, freezer, washing machine, dining table for 6 people, gas hob and double oven. The space is fantastic for preparing meals and also enjoying them with friends or family. Heading downstairs, Guests will find the first bedroom, which is spacious and comfortable with a solid double-sized bed. There is ample storage space for Guests to unpack belongings with a large wooden wardrobe and a chest of drawers. There are also several chairs. The second bedroom is also double bedroom. There are two bedside tables both with lamps and one large wooden wardrobe with a mirror built-in. There is also a small chest of drawers for extra storage. From the second bathroom, you can access the private garden which is on the same level. It is a little slice of quiet heaven for you to enjoy. In the garden there are seats for you to relax in and hopefully soak up the sun! The garden can also be accessed from the stairs. The bathroom is a comfortable size with shower over the bath tub, basin, wc and towel rail. There is a small shelving unit above the basin. There is some on-street parking. This is limited and subject to availability. Please note that the apartment is within the Ultra Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ) and charges may apply for drivers. The home is professionally cleaned and the linen and towels are replaced with freshly laundered supplies between each stay. Each guest will receive one hand towel and one shower towel for the stay. There will be some complimentary tea and coffee, as well as travel-sized bottles of shampoo, shower gel, and soap. Other items provided during your stay are a washing-up pack, toilet roll, and kitchen roll. These should last a couple of days. If more is needed, there is a Sainsburys Local just 3 minutes walk away towards the station. This is open 7 days a week, until late. As the building is split into separate apartments there is a shared main building entrance door. Please respect my neighbours by being considerate when using this shared area and when staying at the flat by keeping noise to a minimum. No amplified sound systems please.

There are numerous restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity that cater for different tastes: "Chaska Maska" is a popular, convivial Indian restaurant that serves Bombay street food;
"Parlez", situated on the busy concourse next to Brockley station, is a bar and grill specialising in bespoke burgers, etc. with an outdoor section adjacent to coffee bars ("The Broca" [vegan] and "Browns") on the pedestrianised concourse/street.
"Ellary's" is a relaxed, family-owned bar & kitchen with outside seating that also serves cocktails. The "Brockley Barge" on the high street at the bottom of Cranfield Road is a spacious, colourful local pub that also serves food (JD Wetherspoons franchise) and is just around the corner from Brockley Station.
The "Brockley Brewery" is a community space/micro brew pub that hosts regular music, art and spoken-word events, as well as a weekly authentic Indian curry night.
About a 10 to 15-minute walk away there is also "Skehan's" – a local Irish pub with a Bohemian atmosphere and live music at weekends . "Chai's Garden" next door is a quaint restaurant serving authentic Thai cuisine. The high street also has a number of excellent takeaways (pizza, Turkish and Chinese food), as well as a crepe cafe and a traditional "greasy spoon" cafe (which is anything but greasy!) for English breakfasts, etc. In addition, there is a Caribbean restaurant/takeaway close by the station and opposite "Salthouse Bottles", which is a high-end off-licence/delicatessen specialising in fine craft beers, wine and artisanal bread.
There are also a number of award-winning, highly recommended restaurants slightly further afield (1/2 to a mile away in various directions): "Brockley's Rock" for traditional fish and chips, "Le Querce" for excellent Italian cuisine and seafood, the "Barbur" for bespoke Indian cuisine and Meze Mangal (a well-established, friendly Turkish restaurant).
The neighbouring borough of Deptford (max. 30-minute transport journey) boasts a host of eateries, bars and pubs (e.g. the snug "Royal George" and "Prince Albert"), as well as having a vibrant music scene.
The nearest bus stop is the 171 (Elephant & Castle via Camberwell) & 172 (West End/Aldwych/Strand via Waterloo) every ten minutes respectively; the town-bound bus stop is located outside the "Brockley Barge" public house on the high street 2-minutes-walk away; the home-bound bus stop is located diagonally opposite the Barge beyond the parade of shops. There is also a regular night bus service (N171) from Tottenham Court Road via Aldwych/Kingsway and Waterloo.
