A splendid upside down house with the living room on the first floor and the bedrooms / bathroom on the ground floor. This is so that residents can enjoy the view across the estuary to the distant Rhinogs. There is also a bird's eye view of the Ffestiniog Railway trains as they come and go across The cob. It is situated on the ever popular South Snowdon Wharf development which is a mixture of one and two bedroom holiday flats and houses. Porthmadog High Street is just across the Glaslyn Bridge so most things are easily walkable. Some basic provisions are obtainable at Londis and the new B&M shop, and there is also a Spar half way down the High Street. For more comprehensive shopping there's Tesco, plus a Lidl and an Aldi in Penamser Road. There are local and long distance buses in Porthmadog, plus the Cambrian Coast railway line to Pwllheli, Barmouth - and beyond. Don't miss the Ffestiniog and Welsh highland Steam Railways from Harbour Station - two minutes walk away!

Sue was informative from the minute we booked her beautiful house & stayed in touch throughout. The views couldn’t have been more spectacular. Walking distance to pubs, shops & more. Big Tesco’s just 3 drive away too.

Fantastic location and beautiful views. A highlight was watching the moon come up over the mountains from the sitting room. Accommodation very well equipped and beds very comfortable

Gorgeous place right on the water, we spent most of our time on the deck watching all the different birds and the tides come and go! Walking distance to pubs and eateries, although we cooked in both nights of our stay. Cozy little place, comfy beds, small bathroom. We are from the United States so getting used to the water pressure was a bit tricky for us, but didn’t detract from our stay at all. 10/10 would book again!!

Fabulous base for our walking weekend with friends. Perfect location for pubs and eateries, close to town and with fabulous views over the estuary. We will be back!
