Our stay at Lorenzo's place was really lovely. We found it to be in an excellent location to visit all areas of Scalea and theocal restaurants were amazing. We would definitely recommend his place to other people.

Es war wunderbar in Scalea! Zu wohnen im Centro storico, auf alten Steinen zu gehen, wo jahrhundertelang die Menschen lebten, war sehr besonders. Wir haben das sehr gewürdigt. Die vielen Treppen zu steigen war nicht ganz einfach mit Hund. Die Wohnung allerdings war ein gemütlicher Rückzugsort, sehr gepflegt und schön eingerichtet. Wir würden wieder kommen.

We were totally stunned by the location of Lorenzo's place. It is in the historical section of Scalea. The whole area is a maze of stairs, alleys, arches and houses that transport you to medieval times. It is mystical and magical. The house decor is modern, minimalist and tasteful. Nearby you have cafes, shops, restaurants and markets, all walking distance. The beach is also easy to walk to. Communication with Lorenzo was easy. His father helped us with the check-in which went smoothly. We enjoyed our stay at Lorenzo's place and enjoyed discovering Scalea.

You won't find a better location than this. Upon arrival, I asked Lorenzo if there was a certain item in the Airbnb that would enhance my comfort. Lorenzo said no, but he went out and bought it for me and I had it within 20 minutes! Such great care for guests is rare these days. There are stone stairs everywhere in this area, so be sure you're physically capable.
