Alex the host is very friendly and relaxed. Close to airport...3 mins by car. Overlooks the runway, so great for plane enthusiasts! . No flights at night to speak of. Double glazing cuts out noise anyway. Effective and quiet AC. Good size rooms throughout and very well kept and clean.I would say a car is essential. A few nice restaurants nearby. About 15 mins from Rhodes town. One flight of steps to reach accommodation.

Nice apartment, very spacious and the hosts were really nice. We appreciated them picking us up and taking us to the airport. Not much is open during the winter but there is a grocery store in town, a bakery, and a butcher shop. Also, you do need a car because it's just a tiny town by the airport. Staying here is quiet in the winter because you hardly hear the planes, they were so infrequent.
