Wembley is one stop away with the Jubilee line. The events are on all year round, but if you just want to visit the stadium you have the option of booking a stadium tour, alternatively you can always go and see a game. This stadium has it all, views, restaurants. On game day the buzz of the place is incredible, and the atmosphere is enhanced by all the local food sales.
Highly recommended. If you’re after shopping and other type of entertainment visit Wembley Park, just outside the stadium, with 85 acres of restaurants, theatre, buskers, art, shopping, and many more. Very popular place, adored by many. A stroll on Wembley High Street will take you through Little India, with many Indian shops and restaurants and the vibrant Sanatan Temple. A culturally diverse area where anyone can find something to do.
If you want to cast a wider net, we recommend inner-city London. Please use public transport to avoid the Congestion charge, the Ulez charges and the highly problematic city parking. Public transport is very good and highly reliable. The area is served by the Jubilee Line, the fastest underground line in the city. It takes 20-30 minutes depending on the time of the day to get to Westminster on the way there you have the option to disembark at Bond Street to visit the iconic Mayfair or continue to another stop and see Buckingham Palace calling at Green Park. From Buckingham Palace, you can walk to Trafalgar Square and enjoy the sites. London has no shortage of free and paid entertainment please feel free to ask if you need more advice on what to visit. Alternatively, use the internet to find information about anything and everything.
For the city and access to Wembley use the Jubilee Underground Line (grey colour). On the weekends (Saturday, Sunday) the Jubilee line operates a night service so if you’re looking for nighttime entertainment in the city this would be a great travel option. Otherwise, you can request through a phone application a Bolt or Uber ride, both quite reliable in the city and throughout the area.
