I only received the check-in details on a very short notice and had to ask for them multiple times. After that Yen was very responsive. The alley leading up to the apartment was crowded with cockroaches but after texting Yen about it they mysteriously died? The apartment wasn’t really clean. I found multiple black hairs while I’m blonde and there was an M&M wrapper on the coach. The bathroom has mould. The neighbourhood is quite noisy but I sleep well in a little bit of noise so that was okay for me. The A/C was a saviour and the balcony is a nice place to have a coffee. The location is great! You can walk around the city and explore every part of it.

A cute and cosy place nestled by the old city wall. We loved our time here and Yen was incredibly helpful and responsive. Worth noting that the windows don’t have glass so shutters need to be closed when the aircon is on. This does slightly limit any light into the space and any views out as well as noise from the street but if you’re an easy sleeper this wasn’t an issue. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the fan upstairs was appreciated for the warm air. All in all would highly recommend

I stayed in Yen’s place for 4 nights. It was a small unit but very comfortable. The balcony was a nice little spot to sit and have a coffee in the morning. It had a beautiful view of the street below. The unit had great AC as well as plenty of hot water, both in the shower and the sink. The bed was comfortable. There is a mini fridge that worked perfectly. You would probably never find the unit if it wasn’t for the perfect instructions on how to access the unit. The unit is walking distance to everywhere you need to go in the Old Quarter. I would suggest however, if you have any mobility issues, this might not be the right unit as it has some very tight and steep steps to access the unit and as well as the loft bedroom.

Clean and central place, comfortable and cute. Balcony view on the historic city gate. It is a professionally managed stay. The person in charge, Trang, was so kind and helpful even with problems unrelated to the Airbnb (looking at you, Vietjet...). Thank you Trang. There is a lively street outside but noise dies down between 10pm and 6 to 7 am. You feel like you're at the beating pulse of Hanoi without being overpowered. Good value for the price. Overall, a very good experience and would book again.
