Fuhlendorf is located south of the Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula on the Bodstedter Bodden. The Baltic seaside resort of Zingst and the small town of Barth are approx. 12 km away. There are two restaurants, shops (mini-shop), bicycle and boat hire and a tennis court in the village. Zeesboot trips are possible on the Bodden, there is a surf school and several riding stables in the area. The region is one of the largest resting places for migratory birds in Europe and offers impressive natural spectacles every year in spring and fall.
