The Schwarzer See, a beautiful swimming and fishing lake with a bathing beach and festival meadow, is about 300 m away. As the owner is only occasionally on site, guests have sole use of the 3300 m² property. The entire upper floor is rented out, in which there are two identical apartments with the same furnishings. They were modernized in 2019. The accommodation is therefore very suitable for friendly families or small groups. There are 2 x a large living/dining area (upholstered furniture, flat screen TV, hi-fi system, DVD, dining table, vacation library/DVDs), 2 x an open kitchenette (electric stove with oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, various kitchen appliances), 4 bedrooms with double bed (2 x in the open bedroom in the attic via stairs), and two bathrooms with shower/WC. The house is centrally heated. A crib and a high chair are available for small children. A simple guest bed can be set up as an extra bed. Outside there is a furnished terrace in the entrance area, a cozy seating area with pavilion, gas barbecue and fireplace, sun loungers, storage space for bicycles and parking. 2 rowing boats can be rented on site (1 x on Schwarzer See, 1 x on Forstsee, 30 EUR/day each). The local bike rental is only a 2-minute walk away. The total price includes final cleaning, bed linen, towels as well as water and energy consumption. Schwarz is a small vacation resort on the lake of the same name within a charming lake landscape between Müritz and the state border with Brandenburg. The village center is a classic village church from the 18th century. The village is also home to numerous vacation accommodations. Schwarzer See is a beautiful swimming and fishing lake with two bathing beaches and a festival meadow with a restaurant. There is also a bicycle rental service in Schwarz and the small town of Mirow is approx. 5 km away. It is located directly on the Müritz-Havel waterway and is a magnet for water sports enthusiasts and hikers. The biggest attraction is the castle island with Mirow Castle, which was only reopened in June 2014 after many years of restoration, the 3 Queens Palace, the idyllic Love Island, the Johanniter Church and the Old Castle Brewery with its gastronomic experience. There are several restaurants and cafés, a fish smokehouse, shopping facilities and boat and bicycle hire. Mirow is easy to reach by train via the rail link to Neustrelitz.
