Great host and great place to stay right on the water (inlet side - ocean side is an easy several minute walk)! We were there for a week in March to chill and access the water and beach while it isn’t busy. Got to imagine it is absolutely perfect for people looking to do wind sports right outside the door!

We had such an incredibly time in Rodanthe. This place was great for us - the views are amazing. We rented paddle boards from the sail shop, that were perfect for the sound. We will definitely be back!!

Great place to stay if you want to learn any watersports - Very relaxed , uncomplicated atmosphere The view from the balcony and the access to the water is amazing . We had a very good time

What a great find. Reider and Barton were great and very informative. I stayed here for two weeks to get some work done and to get in some kitesurfing. They have a great launch spot that is literally 20 feet from the apartment. I got out riding many days from north to south winds flying my 9-meter to my 14-meter kites. It was a perfect place to focus, with great internet, and the kitesurfing right out front was amazing and an easy upwind ride on a sw to hit the slick. Always very nice people around that are either doing lessons, teaching, or just riding. It was very nice, too, that when I had a problem with any of my gear, I just went downstairs and got a repair or picked up some new equipment. They have a great shop that has a very laid-back feel to it. Great experience!
