Maywood Cottage is a family house, let out while the owners are away on holiday. It is fully equipped with everything a family needs. The cottage is stocked with books, toys and games for children, a full size table tennis table, an electric piano and an electric drum kit. The house sleeps 7 people in 4 bedrooms and a travel cot is also available for babies. A separate studio apartment above the garage is also available to rent for an extra cost. Maywood cottage is set back far from the main road, making it a central but peaceful location. There is a large front garden with football goals, and parking for 2 cars (one of our family cars and our caravan will also be parked at the house). Entering the house through the entrance porch, you walk into a large games room with a table tennis table, books, games and toys for children, an electric piano and an electric drum kit. To the side is a cosy TV room with 2 large leather sofas, a large TV (with Netflix, Disney Plus, and Amazon Prime), and a log burner stove. At the rear of the house is a large family kitchen/diner with a very well stocked pantry, American-style fridge/freezer, Siemens double ovens/microwave, a central induction hob, Nespresso machine, 4-slice toaster, kettle and juicer. Large sliding doors lead out onto a York-stone patio with a large outdoor sofa/dining set and parasol. Off the kitchen is a rear entrance hallway with a WC and utility room (with washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, and cordless vacuum). The rear door leads out to a side patio with bin storage and a washing line. There is also a private office on the ground floor which is not available to guests. Upstairs there is a large Master bedroom featuring a Superking size bed and built in wardrobes. There is an ensuite shower room and a separate luggage storage room. Bedroom 2 has a double bed, bedroom 3 has twin beds, bedroom 4 has a single bed. There is also a beautiful family bathroom with a large bath, shower, toilet and sink with mirrored cabinet. A travel cot is also available upon request. All beds are very comfortable. Wardrobes and drawers will be emptied of the family's belongings, leaving the rooms totally clear for guests belongings.
