It also has a big terrace with a garden and bistro type of table and chairs to enjoy great views of the Jura mountains and Alpes. The host takes care of guests, and all the furniture, appliances and household items are of high quality and serve for a guest comfortable stay both for a few days and for a long time. The rented space consists of a bedroom (queen bed, closet and dedicated workspace) with a beautiful view on Jura mountains and a bathroom on the second floor of the townhouse, and the spacious living room with additional work space, kitchen, separate toilet and laundry room on the first floor. Very quite area and you can enjoy sleeping with an open window. Mountain air is fantastic. The bedroom is warm in winter with central heating. Heating can be turned on/off at any time and regulated manually. All rooms have shutters and the apartment keeps cool when it is hot. Standing fan is available in summer, if needed. Fiber fast Internet. The property offers comfortable bed; cotton bed sheets, towels, blanket and pillows; tea/coffee. Free private parking at the property is available. The first bus is at 4.07 am on Monday-Friday and 05.11 am during weekends. The last bus is at 00.16 am and 02.17 am on Monday-Saturday and at 23.17 pm on Sunday. Airport or Palexpo is 40-50 min by bus depending on bus schedule (bus 60/61 and 66 in Ferney Voltaire). Or 15-20 min by car. 2 min by car (20 min walk) to Carrefour, Intermarche and Liddle supermarkets (open 7/7) and excellent bakeries (La Paniere, Chevallier, Paul, etc). Family ski resorts (Crozet and Col de la Faucille are less than 10km away (15 min drive). For cyclists, the Tour de France has traversed Col de la Faucille Category 2 climb 41 times (iconic climb). The property is 5 min walk to the beautiful trail Voie Verte de l`ancienne voie ferrée (10 km) from Gex to Divonne-les Bains which is lovely for a walk or bicycle ride. Another picturesque route is from Gex to Vesancy village (and then to Divonne). There are several parks around too. Town of Gex set up several free pick up points with electric bicycles which you can take using app. The nearest such point is 5 min walk from the apartment.
