Refunded my stay after one night because the listing is not as expected. The airbnb is located very far from the subway station and the place is very old and dingy. The wooden floorboards in the room were rotting and stained. The window was not fully closed and was propped open by what seemed to be an air conditioner and tape. The neighborhood is also unsafe as I heard many sirens at night which interfered with my ability to fall asleep. I contacted the host about the issues and about getting a refund, but she never responded to my request at all. I had to contact airbnb support. After talking to airbnb support for multiple days, they finally offered me a refund and early move out. Only then did the host reply, and not at all when I needed assistance with the housing. Very unresponsive, unhelpful, and misleading. In fact, she tried to bribe me to give this place a good review by giving me five starts. Do yourself a favor and don't rent with her.
