It has it's own unique private entrance from the main entry piazza. Walk through the tropical foliage of palm trees, banana plants and lush bamboo to arrive at your very own private villa door. Your gorgeous villa has a stucco exterior, tile roof and tropical plants. The suite is furnished with a luxurious Stearns & Foster Queen Bed, rustic lamps, full length mirror, wine glass rack and a stainless steel coffee station. It also includes a dining table with 2 chairs. Stunning french style door/window allows light inside your luxurious villa. The feel is like lounging in a comfy large bed in a smaller size studio villa. The bathroom is layered with natural travertine tile. A ceiling mounted rain head shower compliments the spa-like experience, complete with a foot massaging pebble floor! Ahhhh! Quality soaps and conditioner is available! :-) FREE CONTINENTAL HOT OATMEAL BREAKFAST: A light Continental Breakfast is available your first morning. WiFi covers most of the outdoor Tropical Gardens! You can relax outside and cruise the internet or share a conversation with a fellow traveler staying at my home. Got Pet? Small birds are automatically approved to stay for the trip duration. Well behaved dogs & cats are allowed at a rate of $10 per pet, per night. Mice, rats, hamsters, and guinea pigs pets are not allowed. Rabbits must be pre-approved. *Example: If you have a dog or cat and stay 2 nights or more, an additional $10 is due for the pet to be approved to stay. **Unfortunately not all pets are allowed to stay inside your villa. Our pet fee has not changed since hosting in 2013. Please ask all questions prior to booking a reservation so there are no surprises :-) We offer a discounted pet fee of $10/pet per night when paid PRIOR to arrival. The rate is $20/pet, per night when paid AFTER arrival. Undeclared Pet Fee is $250. Well behaved pets are VERY welcome and must be leashed while outside. Please make sure to pick up their waste and place behind the recycling area in plastic bags. Accident? No problem and no carpet. 100% of the villa floors are aged Tile with some unfilled/cracked areas which go with the style of an olde French villa. Grass/sod is not always available due to pet use/uric acid build up. We have wildlife outside which include various birds, squirrels, rats, cats and an occasional coyote. ALLERGIES: Since pets are allowed, the space is obviously not hypoallergenic. Please DO NOT book this Pet Space if you have allergies or sensitivities as we use quality common soaps, cleaners, bleach, scents, febreze/glade and essential oils found in retail stores and Whole Foods. NO SMOKING INSIDE: Smoking is STRICTLY not allowed inside. $250 deodorizing fee. It’s a crime to damage property in Portland and we do prosecute. Don’t sneak, we can alway tell :-) SMOKING TABLE OUTSIDE: We have a smoking table in the beautiful front Tropical Garden area. Cigarettes, Weed and Vape friendly! There are two weed shops about 7 blocks away. FREE STREET PARKING: Your reservation includes Free Street/Ave Parking. We recommend parking in front of the property, note signs and space is usually plentiful and very simple :-) PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: (BUS:) Tri-Met #20 (RAIL:) MAX Line exit NE 60th UBER / LYFT: Usually arrive very fast, fyi! CENTRAL HVAC: Your villa is equipped with central gas heating, fan and ac. A thermostat in your villa is also available which controls an electric cadet in wall heater. Central HVAC examples, during Winter when it’s cold out, do not expect the AC to click on. In the Summer when it’s 98 degrees, do not expect the heat to click on. Please do not book my place if you want to control the central hvac thermostat, although I can adjust it a few degrees :-) Some guests like it warmer and some like it colder... we set a temperature that is balanced for ALL guests. The most important part of what I offer is a clean, beautiful and friendly oasis while you are visiting the great city of Portland! :-) THE FINE PRINT & ADDITIONAL INFORMATION to read before making a reservation: ENTIRE SPACE / PRIVACY: This is an entirely 100% PRIVATE SPACE INSIDE. TINY HOME-ISH / It's a small studio style villa ADU, including private bathroom! NO OTHER PEOPLE WILL SHARE YOUR INTERIOR SPACE! :-) You will enter through your very own private outside entry door. There is NO shared interior common area. NO room-mates, only you inside the space. ***Please do NOT book this space if you want something larger than a small studio apt. The smaller price goes along with the smaller size :-) An outdoor dining table with chairs in the Tropical Garden is provided. **Outside your villa is of course not private in the beautiful city of Portland & my home :-) *My home is a fully licensed and insured B&B with other entirely studio guesthouse villa ADUs at the same location. I also live onside in a separate building sharing no walls with your villa. ACCESS: All villas are on the main floor with about 1-3 steps required to enter the door after walking up an inclined driveway. There is nobody above your villa, just an attic and roof! PHOTOGRAPHY: No photography allowed for any reason while staying on my property-Copyright. FURNITURE/DECOR: Furniture and decor items occasionally get changed out and/or upgraded. NO 24 HOUR FRONT DESK: I do not offer 24 hour services. LOCKOUTS: If you're locked out and cannot reach me, it is your responsibility to contact an emergency locksmith or wait until I respond or wake up. Covid-19: We follow Airbnb protocol and sanitize high touch surfaces with Lysol or equivalent. CHECK OUT: When you place the key into the lockbox at anytime, this confirms you have checked out and have departed the property for the remainder of the reservation. OTHER FEES: Re-Key Fee is $25 if you lose or fail to return the key at the check out time. Smoking in room deodorize fee $250. LOST & FOUND: You have up to 24 hours to claim all personal items left in the space from your check out day & time of 11am. After 24 hours your items will be donated as we do not have storage space.
