Myra was very confronting when I had told her there was a problem with the dryer and very wrong in saying the dryer was not broke before I got there the whole time she failed to acknowledge there was an issue with the dryer before I checked in the dryer never turned on the booking had cold water in shower and she said my dog drooled all offer the couch when I have a service dog and paid for the cleaning of my pet in reservation before hand when I did not need to even list him as a pet due to him being a registered service dog for my ptsd so I had extended and she did not honor my booking and I was forced to stay at hotel for her to refund my account due to a prepaid booking I found Myra to be a unpleasant host in the situation she didn’t want to allow my to unpack and move my stuff into location even though the location is not an area u can access during checkin time due to this and the apartment being not very clean I am leaving this review

Great place to stay, in the heart of the action with bars and restaurants right outside the apartment. From here it's a quick walk to everything in the Gaslamp quarter... and only about 20 minutes walk to the harbor and Little Italy. The busses and trams stop just two blocks away, so getting out to Balboa Park and the zoo, and later to the airport were extremely easy. The apartment is very roomy, with high ceilings, a bathroom that's separate from the sinks and mirror, and comfortable furniture. Everything was spotless. The only downside is there are several bars right outside the window and they crank out the tunes until the early evening (Thursday to Saturday when we were there... Sunday they shut down earlier). However, the host provides nice sleep aids including earplugs and sound machines if that kind of thing bothers you - I had no problem dropping right off every night. The area also has its share of homeless like many of the west coast cities now do. Well recommended!

This is my first time using Airbnb. The location of this property is prime for enjoying downtown San Diego. The bed, kitchen, and overall facilities and cleanliness are top-notch. Especially when compared to my previous hotel stays, it boasts high ceilings and offers a much more spacious environment. Considering the overall level of noise from downtown, it might not be suitable for families with very young children. If a group of young adults wants to immerse themselves in the vibe of the Gaslamp Quarter, I would say this is the perfect accommodation.

Prime location with fantastic hosts. Tons of bars, restaurants, and entertainment within short walking distance. I would not hesitate to book this place again on a return trip.
