Disconnect to reconnect at our serene hideaway! Our tiny home is equipped with 2 queen size beds located in two sleeping lofts. Sleeping lofts require a level of physical ability due to the need to climb stairs to access the elevated space. This can be challenging for individuals with mobility issues, balance problems, or strength limitations. Additionally, loft beds are generally not recommended for children under the age of 6 due to the risk of falls. Here are some specific considerations: 1. **Climbing Ability**: Accessing a loft typically involves climbing a ladder or steep stairs, which requires strength, coordination, and balance. 2. **Emergency Egress**: In an emergency, quick and safe exit from a loft can be difficult for those who are less mobile. 3. **Space Constraints**: Lofts often have limited headroom and floor space, making it harder to move around comfortably. 4.**Supervision and Rules for Children**: Educate your child on safe use of the loft bed and supervise them to ensure they understand and follow safety rules. For these reasons, sleeping lofts are generally more suitable for able-bodied individuals and children over the age of 6. You know your abilities and children best, so please use your own judgement. The main living space includes a couch, a well stocked kitchen to prepare all meals and is equipped with a Keurig and stovetop tea kettle, as well as a bathroom with a shower and incinerator toilet. The outdoor deck can be enjoyed as an extension of the living space with a 4-chair outdoor dining set and in the evening you can enjoy s’mores and/or a glass of wine around the fire pit while lounging on the Adirondack chairs.
