Great location for access to La Fortuna and Arenal area (Rent an AWD Car if you go outside this area). Super peaceful and quiet. Lovely large home with tons of space, including a wonderful covered veranda. Mornings on the veranda drinking coffee and listening to the cicadas and birds was the best. Great coffee place called Metropoli right up the street (AKA Sloffee). The owners had mentioned that the neighborhood had a Sloth. We were optimistic but didn't expect to see it. No signs of it for the first few days, but we saw sloths on the Bogarin Trail in downtown La Fortuna (pay for a guide to see the most animals), but we knew what to look for now. Even with our expert sloth spotting skill, it was totally unnecessary as the next day the sloth was in a tree right over the yard in full view. Amazing. Delvis the local host was great and the remote owners were friendly and gracious as well. Totally great experience staying at Casa Tortuga.

What a great place! Beautiful and comfortable house in the perfect location next to the resorts and a few short minutes to La Fortuna. Relaxing and peaceful property. Very easy to stay there.

Incredible value for the space. Would definitely stay again. Only thing to note is the shower position needs to be at 4 or 5 o’clock to get hot water. Took me one cold shower to figure out.

From the get-go, this was such an easy rental process. Bobbi was very responsive, incredibly helpful and resourceful, she has a wonderful property manager there in Costa Rica to help with activities or questions. The house was exactly as described online and in the pictures, and was just perfect for us. Very clean, spacious and comfortable, and the surroundings beautiful. Being 2 doors down from Pure Trek was a bonus, and for anyone considering this house/location, please take advantage of their incredible activities. Delvis (property manager) was so responsive and helpful and took care of a lot for us. I have and will recommend this property to anyone interested in visiting La Fortuna. 10/10 experience and stay!
