It is really hard to put into words how amazing this property and experience is. The pictures truly don’t do it justice - every time we looked outside we had to ask ourselves - is this real? It is the most magical villa we have ever stayed in, and would highly recommend this place to even the most picky of travellers. Melpo and Tasos are incredible hosts and the small touches and amenities are the best we have experienced. It was such a treat to have the place cleaned daily, and to have the cupboard and fridge stocked with goodies when we arrived. Do not hesitate for an instant to book this magical place - you will enjoy every second of your stay!!!

It's hard writing this review. You know when you find somewhere so perfect that you want to keep it a secret all to yourself. Well, this is it! In my view, the closest bit of heaven you can ever dream to find. And I can't write about this wonder without mentioning the perfect hosts that opened to all this delight in Zakynthos. Melpo and her family went over and beyond in hospitality, kindness and support. My family and I fell in love with them, and hope to return again and again and again. Our flight arrived early, and Melpo kindly let us drop off our luggage so we could go and enjoy the town while everything was being prepared for us. We took a taxi to the Zakynthos main big town, only 20 minutes away, we had a wonderful brunch and did some light shopping there, I wasn't aware at the time of the town in Avra, 4 minute drive away with wonderful seafood restaurants and a quaint beach. The beach was more like a lake then the sea, rocky on entry so bring something to wear if you plan to go there. Now as for the villa we were to stay at....I do not exaggerate when I say, that the moment I walked into the villa, I was blown away! As I walked around I was literally brought to tears. I was lost for words. Every corner I turned, just perfect. Beautiful! I was speechless. The photos do not do it any justice. Everything was beyond perfection. The Zen garden at the entry was a corner I spent quite a few evenings looking up at the stars and relaxing on evenings. A beautiful bed at the end of the garden that overlooks the view of the ocean and island across was just heaven, I slept there on a few nights. The beauty of the outdoors was visible from every corner of the house, absolutely breathtaking. This is a place where you could never get bored of, and never want to leave. We felt so at home and so at peace that we plan to return again. And on top of this, the five star treatment with the daily cleaning of the home and resuppling of everything was superb. On arrival, we found a full fridge and stocked cupboard with everything a family could need....Melpo truly spoilt us, and went above and beyond. And in all my years on Airbnb and visiting all kinds of beautiful places around the world....this by far was the finest of all. I feel I can write a book about our time in Avra... the warmest hospitality of Melpo and her family, the friendliness of Avra and the unsurpassed beauty of their home. In one word, breathtaking! Thank you. Thank you thank you thank you for all you have given us, we are forever grateful. ❤️

We stay 2 nights at Melli’s villa. Although it was raining during our stay , but it didn’t matter at all. Melpo made the villa very clean and welcome us at the villa, offered us the gift full of the refrigerator! What a breathtaking view of the villa, just in front of the sea with the view of a couple of beautiful small islands. We really had a good time during our stay. For sure we will be back again! Qi Yu

We came to Melpo's to escape alone for a few days. It was perfect. Melpo and Tasos were very communicative and available. The grounds are outstanding and the view absolutely breathtaking. The pool was perfect and the hotub an extra special treat. Great grilling setup and adorable play area for kids (whom we didn't bring for our getaway). The house is beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable. An absolutely amazing setup. Keri Beach is right nearby which is a great place to rent a motorboat and explore other beaches and the caves. Grocery stores right nearby and supermarket maybe 15 minutes away. Really convenient to the airport and Zaykintos town. We will most definetly be returning.
